Double Your Pleasure with the Lomography X-Pro Slide 200

Lomography X-Pro Slide 200 film derived is from the Agfa RSX emulsion and is wonderfully balanced for cross processing, with result giving high levels of contrast and beautiful grain. It comes in 2 flavors, 120 and 35mm, my sample photos below will be of the latter.

I love using the 200 ISO speed for it’s ability to do MX (multiple exposure) shots on sunny days outside without the results being too washed out due to over exposure. Like many of us I mostly shoot with plastic cameras, that are simple and lacking an option for dialing in a lower ISO, or pull, to compensate for the aperture being opened multiple times. For this the Lomography X-Pro Slide 200 film is ideal.

Below are some examples of double exposures. They illustrate how well the film exposes under partly sunny conditions when shooting MX.

However it’s not limited to great MX photos either, I love how the blues and reds just pop in well lit conditions! And if you happen to shoot in overcast conditions the images can appear very old and monochromatic, vignetting helps to the charm too. Here’s some single exposure examples.

In closing, I recommend everyone try this film and see the results for yourselves. I like to have this film on hand always, slide film is just more fun and the Lomography X-Pro 200 slide film has constantly given me great results and pairs well with the Lomography Sprocket Rocket to give a unique Lomo styling.
