Nameless Underwater Camera

A no name brand, 1.2m Focus Free camera with underwater casing for a steal of a price and takes good pics too! This little beauty comes in a range of colours and patterns and is fearless when it comes to swimming. It is light enough that floats if you happen to let it go whilst diving or bombing water bodies it'll be waiting for you on your return to the surface.

My boyfriend stumbled upon this little beauty of a camera in a shop called Ke ai that stocks Japanese toys and gadgets of sorts. Knowing my love/obsession for camera’s and sensing the gap of an underwater camera in my collection. He very quickly made the purchase and it was in my hands but a few hours later.

As a benchmark I have always used ISO 400 film from various brands. This gives good pictures with enough light as long as you not doing any night time swimming! The casing does tend to mist up at times and i have got some surprise light leaks that are still a bit of mystery? Possibly a stray droplet on the film? You load the camera normally and firing it is simple with a black button on top and then wind to the next photo(no multiple exposures possible unless you reshoot the film). To rewind you first press in a little black button under the camera then rewind the film as normal til you feel it slacken and open it up.

The camera can be removed from the casing and is then just a regular point and shoot. The lens is fairly tight and is 28mm so when taking self shots get everyone in close and best focus taken when subject is 1.2m away. So keep your eyes open for this little one who knows where you might find one!

wise using ISO 400 I have one and the box, there is no bname as you say and the box says 28mm f/9 lens so you instinctively picked the right film. I had a ball with mine but I need goggles for next time

Nice photos! I found the exact same camera at a little random shop at my workplace - nameless and extremely affordable. Bought the multi-lens one but haven't used it underwater yet. Hope the photos I took turn out well as I loaded 400ISO as well.
