This camera, its design and possibilities are enormous. As a reflex camera can have a clear idea of what you're photographing, focus and shoot. Its wide range of speeds and aperture openings allows you to take pictures in all situations. They are also formats: square, rectangular and 35mm can also be used ... is a lovely camera!.

The Lubitel 166+ (http://microsites.lomography.com/lubitel166+) I went to the Lomography Shop and saw her there on a shelf and thought, "Look at that camera TLR, which is small! ". Since then, I could not remove the thought of the Lubitel 166 from the head. It is a great camera, especially if you’ve been experimenting with the medium format. This is a camera that can be used in any situation: during the day, at night, indoors, outdoors, up close, from afar, foreground … It’s a little scary at first, but bring it to the street at any moment and it is a joy. Its images are achieved through its Triplet-22 lens that are of excellent quality.

Its mechanics have not changed much since it launched the first Komsomolets back in the 50’s. The original design is copied from the Lubitel Voightlander, a TLR camera at that time adopted by our Russian friends.

However, the new 166 + features make it a unique machine:

  • Rewind: A simple lever allows you to literally “go back in time” and retrieve the box and fire again. Randomized double exposures or rigorously tested, or the possibility of using the reel in another camera.
  • The hotshoe: A special preview that lets you take pictures with your flash or use of Lomography Colorsplash. I recommend the colorsplash, for versatility.
  • The variety of formats and films: For one square and rectangular always, another fantastic and amazing 35mm holes exposed to the photographs that you will achieve great impact and full of flavor. This, coupled with the variety of films (120 films, 220, b / n. ..) gives an infinite number of possibilities.

And this list could go on indefinitely, but, like most good things, it is best for you to find out yourself
Greetings!
