Lomography X-Pro Chrome 100 - Delicious!

Have you tried the newly launched Lomography X-pro Chrome 100?

Let’s cut to the chase and start the review:

- Blue skies with white clouds, nice colors.

- Indoors with sufficient lighting and correct exposure, slight yellowish color cast; underexposed, heavy greenish yellow tint.

- Red color shift is not too serious, quite close to original color.

- Outdoors with sufficient lighting, no obvious color shift, increased color saturation.

My friends prefer the out of production old Agfa CT100. Cross processing the Lomography X-pro Chrome 100 yields similar yellow, green, blue color reproduction as the Agfa CT100, except for reds. However, Lomography X-pro100 produces more natural skin tones than CT100. Therefore, in terms of skin tones, X-pro100 should be more popular with Lomographers who are not familiar with cross processing.

Of course, this review isn’t about whether X-pro100 is a CT100 replacement, just buy whatever films that suits your shooting style!
