What a film! I have to confess that I never was a big fan of redscales...Yeah, of course, sometimes there have been some really cool results which delighted me but mainly I wasn`t fascinated by film switching.
But when the newsletter with the new film Lomography Redscale XR in my inbox arrived I couldn´t hardly believe it.
A redscale which can be used from 50 ISO up to 400 ISO and which gives you therefore completely different results from green-yellow via yellow-orange through to the classical redscale-red, it’s just a dream.
Okay, everyone knows the normal really red redscales, but the exposures on 100 ISO or even 50 ISO impressed me that much that I bought on an extended weekend in Vienna a pack of three and started shooting with my LC-A on a terrific sunny day immediately.
The film keeps its promise, this won’t be my last rolls.

Looks like I'll be buying some too. I like the idea of getting a few looks out of one roll of film. The colors all end up very similar with the Redscale 100.
