The Nikon FM10 is a manual focus 35 mm film camera manufactured by Cosina. It is of SLR design and was first available in 1995. It is normally sold in a kit that includes a Zoom Nikkor 35-70 mm f/3.5-4.8 zoom lens. Read on to find out why this single lens reflex camera is awesome for beginners!

Nikon FM10 (1995)

Last year, I owned my very first analogue SLR which I named Pancho. Pancho was my secondhand Nikon FM10. Pancho worked without batteries (and even without an external flash) and he yielded great photographs especially when used under the sun. Here are some of my shots using Pancho:

I only got to use Pancho twice because I had to sell him. Nevertheless, a Nikon FM10 is really a superb SLR camera especially for beginners. I had no problems in manipulating the settings, given the fact that I was really a newbie then. I would definitely buy another FM10 if I have the chance and cash. You should, too. :)
