This tripod looks suspiciously like a Gorillapod. It has similar rubber feet and rubber rings around the flexible joints. It doesn't come in pink, there are no accessories available for it, but it's about half the price of a Gorillapod and it gets the job done.

I’ve never actually held a real Gorillapod in my hands, so I don’t really know how mine compares quality wise. But I bet the joints on a real Gorillapod don’t pop off from time to time (like mine do), I bet the quick release clip actually releases the camera(mine doesn’t), and I bet you don’t need a screwdriver to secure the camera properly (like you do on mine).
Holga WPC. This was when the leg popped off as I was uncurling it from a railing, and I had to climb over the railing onto a rooftop to retrieve it.
Nevertheless, I love it to death. It’s virtually permanently attached to my Holga WPC and allows to me to get lots of impossible shots, I would have never gotten otherwise. It’s small, fits easily in my bag, and discrete enough to pull out in any situation.
Next job I have in store for it is infrared shots at the Botanical Garden with my Lubitel 166+, so stay tuned!

I have that exact tripod next to me - and as far as I'm aware, it IS a gorillapod. Joby are the manufacturers of them.
It's a great little tripod, and very handy. It also fits in the zipped front pocket on the sidekick bag, making it easy to take around everywhere.
I've gotta say though, your review's just succeeded in making me want the Holga WPC! Such stunning, stunning photos!

They used the wrong picture to head the article - that is a picture of a Gorillapod, mine looks slightly different... Thanks for the compliment ;)

the polar bear shot looks like a low-budget horror film still. i mean that as a compliment.
