Voigtländer Vchrome (35mm, 100 iso)

I found the Voigtländer Vchrome 200 in a photo shop in Germany and became really interested.

I didn’t expect much of it though, because it was quite cheap and I never heard anything of Voigtländer films. When I returned to Ireland and tried it out afterwards, I got it developed in C-41 chemicals. The results were amazing! I actually couldn’t believe how much I underestimated that film!

The colour shifts are evidently a notch higher from the usual, the turquoise hues are really unexpected and beautiful at the same time. About the contrast, it seems to have a crazy turn around too as you would assume from a cross-processed slide, but not to the point that will strain your eyes, it just has a smooth and suave texture to it.

If I had the chance to buy that film again, i would definitely buy loads of them, because I cant find them anywhere.. I recommend this film to everyone, who loves strong blue tones!
