Kodak High Definition Advantix 200 (APS, 200 iso)

6

An APS high Definition Kodak film; though the film I have is expired I can see between the lines, that this film is very sharp.

I have been shooting APS films for a few years now. I like the options that are built into the system APS and all of the cameras are compact and can be carried everywhere. I recently acquired a sweet deal on some Kodak Advantix High Definition ASA 200 and have been taking my camera every where now. I bought this film out dated, so I was excited to see what kinds of shifts the film has taken on.

One roll had some extreme reds washing over the images like some kind of color splash invasion. I love the “accidents” and extreme shifts in expired film. Other wise this film seems super sharp for a negative smaller than 35mm film. I used this film in all situation, low light, over cast days and rainy days and close up flash, and found it to be satisfactory, to pretty great!

For 200 ISO that's a crapload of grain....

Ouh it hurts my heart to see all those camerabodies glued to that van. Should have been digital cams instead.

    But it is cool.

Yes falsedigital, lots of grain in that expired and rainy day roll.. where the other shots, same film, different rolls, are really nice and snappy..odd indeed. Thank you stouf..and tveden, i am with you and i feel your pain.
