Kodak Ektachrome EPR (35mm, 64 iso) User-Review

"Surprise, surprise!" the film said to me after I processed it on the lab.

I managed to buy some Ektachrome EPR from a friend. With the curiosity that continuously bugles inside my mind, I loaded my Ektachrome EPR to my LC-A and brought it together with me.

The funny thing is, Kodak Ektachrome EPR has an ISO 64. No matches from the LC-A but when I see it as a sunny or too bright, I position my ISO to 100 and if it is cloudy or much dark, I set it over ISO 50. Now here comes the tricky part!

Setting them either ISO 50 and ISO 100 has a little conjunction. When the sun is up, I saw my pictures as greenish to yellow as possible and not the bluish tone (as to what the Elitechrome and Ektachrome are famous of). Dark, dreary scene, the shots are either bluish-greenish or it just copies the flash available from the Colorsplash Flash! Surprising results are great, I tell you! I was expecting bluish colors!

Now, I still got another roll of this film! And I am ready to use it any time now! I am happy with the colors. Some of my friends were amazed they even asked me how I did it. Simple! Just use Kodak Ektachrome EPR and that’s it!

I suggest you try this film too!

I like the diversity of the gallery/film/roll. Shot number 2 is excellent. There is something magical about iso 64 films.
