Kodak Ektachrome EPR (35mm, 64 iso) User-Review

Doubles took great deep greenish tones. Cross processing them was the best thing I could ever do!

My girlfriend went to Madrid, Spain months ago. I told her to visit the Lomography store and look for slide films. Two weeks after, “I got 3 rolls of Kodak Ektachrome 64.” she said. I had never heard that before. Confused, I thought a 64 iso was not going to be enough light using the 100 iso setting on my beloved LC-A+ so I decided to try doubles.

I was surprised after the results came back of the lab. The doubles took great deep greenish tones. Cross processing them was the best thing I could ever do. As seeing the results were ok, I decided to take a chance to the third and last roll being exposed normally. I asked to a few known lomographers (vicuña, lomosexual_manboy, boredbone) about exposing it normally and they said it was fine.

I told the lab that the roll had been taken as 100 iso so if they could x-pro and push it a little to compensate the missing light and they said yes. One day after, I got the film processed and it looked amazing. I took it to another lab for scan it and I was amazed again! Of course I loved my girl before, but this changed the way I look her. Now I love her even more!
I wish I could find this film again. If you do, don´t hesitate to x-pro it and either to tell me how your Lomographs look.

great shots comezone! EPR 64 is pretty easily available here and i like to use it on cameras that don't have any iso settings. it soaks up the sun like crazy and in turn the colors it brings out are amazing. Glad u discovered this lil gem of a film. Try it on ur other cameras and get excited. :)

great review. you convinced me to buy them.
in what chemicals did you cross process them? im kinda hesitant to do it because kodak kodak kodacrome KM 135-20 comes out blank if you cross-process them.
the ones I got are Kodak Ektachrome ER 135-36 64 ISO
