Fuji Sensia (35 mm, 100 iso) User-Review

Cross it and watch at the colors go Magenta!

This film will give you gorgeous magenta tones on your photos when cross-processed and for a very nice price! Sensia is not a professionnal film, that means that it is less expensive than Fuji Velvia, but still giving you the colours like that of the Velvia, more or less.

I used it recently and I have to admit that it gave me good surprise! The pink color is maybe less vivid that with the Velvia, wich is not a problem. I noticed that if you shoot a red subject, the picture will be red-pink, but if you shoot something yellow, the colors on the picture will be less purple than with the Velvia which is really intriguing! Also, when the film is underexposed, it turns more purple and overexposed,it turns more yellow. The big surprise is the colors when I used the flash – the tones are a bit blue and NOT purple, but under artificial lighting conditions, yellow colours are evident.

In conclusion, Sensia II 100iso, 35 mm is very agreable to use, and it is cheapest than the Velvia, wich means more films for the same budget !
