Konica Minolta Vectis Weathermatic Camera

Konica Minolta Vectis Weathermatic Camera sure sounds quite a mouthful but this is your camera for everyday seasons!

Got this camera from a friend. Konica Minolta Vectis is a rugged yellow point-and-shoot camera. Weighing in a roughly 12 oz. that is encapsulated with a body matter of plastic and rubber, this monster can be taken anywhere, any place and any time! It was a big bulky camera so we tried it out under a rainy weather.

This camera is a 35mm film. Exposure range of this camera varies from 1/250 sec – 1/4 sec, has two exposure ranges that is wide and tele lens, lens aperture of f/4.0-f/6.4, focal length of 30-50mm with real image zoom on the viewfinder. It includes one CR-2 battery that is snugged inside the camera to fuel the built-in flash. Flash mode comes in different stories like fill-in mode, night mode, auto mode, flash OFF mode, and red-eye reduction. ISO selection from 100 to 3200, and has some crazy features like the autofocus lock, autoexposure lock, shock resistant, and weatherproof.

I prefer this camera under certain circumstances. The instance of a bad weather can still make your day. The only thing I can include over the “cons” is the bulkiness of the camera. Its too big you cannot slip it inside your pocket instead you have to place it in your bag. Plus, you have to carry this like one big happy machine! Too bad I haven’t used this baby yet underwater but I will be trying it out in the near future!
