The Pentax K1000 is a beautiful piece to add to anyone's analog camera collection. Though it may not be the same as the older Pentax models, it still delivers outstanding results

The other day looking in my old stuff, i find this beautiful camera “Pentax k1000”: a resistant camera with her grey & black body. So i couldn’t resist to take this camera in my hands and discover if it’s in good condition! The camera was released in 1976 by the Asahi Optical Company. After a 21-year production span, the camera had changes during that time, most notably a change from Made-in-Japan to Made-in-China. The “Chinese” K1000, was fabricated for “Chinon”. They made some changes to make the K1000 less-expensive to produce. This made the camera cheaper and lighter, but more fragile and cheap looking.
This camera is very easy to use and i think that is the best camera for learn or practice our photographic skills because it’s simple but elegant.

this is a classic "photo 101" camera. very basic, but it has everything you need.
