Pentax ME Super

The Pentax ME Super is a great 35mm SLR camera that is really easy to use and is great for someone who is just starting to get into photography.

This camera was only in production for 5 years, between 1979 – 1984, and even though it is older than i am (i was born in 1984) it still works a treat.

The shutter speed ranges from 4s to 1/2000 and it also has a Bulb setting for longer exposures. It has automatic and manual settings for when it comes to choosing the shutter speed and it also has a built in light meter, which really helps when trying to decide which shutter speed to choose. It has a hot shoe for a flash, its threaded so you can use a cable release, it can be used on a tripod and it also has a self timer.

It usually comes with a 50mm lens, which is a great standard lens to have but it is fairly easy to get interchangeable lens for this camera with its K bayonet mount. This is such a great camera to have for either someone who is just starting out or for an expert, you really can’t go wrong with this camera.

Funny to see this camera pop up. I inherited one from my father. I've only used it once thus far. It's got quite a bit of heft to it, so it's not something I'd carry around all the time like my LC-A
