Lomo LC-A+ - Small Camera, BBBIIIIGGGG Pictures!

"Is that it?" I said when I opened the box in surprise. "It's smaller than I thought".

It’s common knowledge that size doesn’t matter (well, at least that’s the information that I’ve been given).

When I opened up the little wooden box and pulled out this pocket sized camera I was filled with relief. I was relieved by the feeling that there are people out there who look on such cameras with joy and respect, people who are genuinely excited about going out into the world and taking picture after glorious picture.

The LC-A+ is your ultimate traveling companion, it’s your eyes to the world. Things that you wouldn’t give the time of day suddenly become interesting to you. All this through the viewfinder of what is sure to be one of the cutest cameras to ever grace this earth.

It’s simplicity is it’s key, it is tailored to allow you to express the 10 Golden Rules of Lomography from all angles, break them and put them back together again. The higher film speed selector, the familiar focus selector lever (trust me, after an hour wandering about with this it will become second nature to you), the little window at the back so you can see what film you’re shooting with are all features that takes this camera into new depths of creativity and if you’re a sucker for a multiple exposures, it’s never been easier.

The LC-A+ goes everywhere with me. To the shops, the the gas station when the car is thirsty. Take it with you when you walk the dog last thing at night before you go to bed, hell, take it to bed with you if you feel so inclined. We won’t judge! ;)

If you’re thinking about getting an LC-A+, there are so many reasons to pick one up. Just be aware that it will become a big part of your life and once you start snapping away you just won’t stop.

double exposure with two distances set, one for the foreground and one for the background. It's a nice little trick that should give you the result of everything in the shot being in focus :)
