Natura Classica - My Chosen One

I went for the Natura!

After almost 3 years of Lomography I found myself surrounded with 10 cameras. But all of ’em are quite know what I mean.

So I started to look for one that’s very solid. I turn my eyes to an old friend, the LC-A which I never owned before, because I always borrowed it from a friend. I love its contrast, the vivid colors, and the vignettes. But one day, my friend flew off to London and so did the LC-A.

My other choice popped up for me in September 2008. I decided to buy myself a birthday present, a solid, sleek, and surprising one. Surely the LC-A is not a surprise anymore and I quite get along with the Fed5’s contrast already.
Then I found the Fuji Natura on the Internet. It caught my eyes in an instant. The low contrast with pale colors are what I’m looking for.

I wasted no time by picking up my phone and call my friend in Tokyo asking her to buy it for me! 2 weeks later I’ve got my gem in my arms… and the rest is what they call history.

The pics are great for sure - especially #7, also the camera is nice - I like the design very much but one thing I can´t get is what should be so special about it? OK, it got this special mode that kicks in when you load 800ISO and up but several cams can take Film up to 1600 or 3200, like the Minox 35 ML or the Yashica T4.....maybe I´m too oldschool :)

    Great shots!
I just got a Natura and I love it. I also got a few rolls of the Fuji Natura Film from Japan too. I wish Lomography would start to sell it, as it is still only available in Japan.
Be sure and check out my first Natura shots at my betahome!

I'm quite interested in getting this camera for myself, but I still have my heart set on the fotosniper at least the horizon kompakt.

I think I'll have to see what other photos this camera produces....
