Half a kilogram heavy metal toy.

First of all, I do not own this camera. However, what is really good and should be appreciated the most is the boss of this photo lab where I always deliver my films for processing. He allowed me to try out this special heavy camera which I was actually surprise about it. The camera was loaded with a Fuji400 film in it, and it was only 4 shots taken. He said it is going to take him forever to finish a roll of film since he is always busy in the lab. So, he passed to me this camera after I asked. It was a real pleasure to hold this machine. The Nikon FM2.
Obviously, it is a semi-pro SLR. With interchangeable lens, and the unusual vertical-travel focal plane shutter. Shutter speed is ranging from 1 – 4000 per second, even included with Bulb which is really powerful to me.
Alright, enough talking nonsense. Here I am about to share what I have taken with this camera and you’re about to see how powerful can this machine perform. As I always said, I’m not a professional cameraman at all. I’m purely lomographer. So I don’t think, just shoot. That’s me, and that’s what I do no matter what camera I am holding on my hands.
Let the pictures talk to you all then. Enjoy~!!

Haha! That was my first camera too! Got it for my 16th birthday... haven't used it since a long time... strange relation with it... I've always had the feeling that this camera was too good for an amateur like me... and I still feel very impressed when I look at it... that camera reminds me my first teacher at school who was an ugly spinster and the old harpy was beating us with a wood stick each time we were doing a mistake... with my plastic cams I feel more at ease, less in danger....

Nice gallery you got there... specially 6 and 11!
@ grenoouille: I know what you mean! My wife has a Pentax P30t and I feel exactly the same with it... I rescued it from oblivion (from the closet!!) and loaded it with a lomo x-pro a couple of months ago, but I just end leaving her behind every time I pick up a different camera! Shes just too big and scarry (something like a big fat old nurse carrying a BIG needle arround, when you are a nursing student on your first day at the hospital)!!!

babo and grenoouille, you both are really funny, come on, let dig that camera out and rock it again... at least let 'her' see the sun after long time in the storage... =P
