Square Is All Around With The Holga!

If someone asks you what the best medium format camera is, I am sure that you will have only a second to reply him/her that it’s certain Holga 120. And if he/she asks you more about its lens, yes, you will say “a plastic lens is my favorite.”

Using Holga is as free as a bird. Let your creativity flow unlimitedly. Forget all rules that you used to obey. Throw them out as far as possible. It’s time to be yourself with the extraordinary camera named Holga. There are two image modes which are 6×6 and 6×4.5 formats. 6×6 is extreme popular because it has vignettes in every corner. That’s Holga’s signature. But 6×4.5 mode cuts off the vignettes and gives you more four photos. I prefer square photos as they are unique and attractive. Moreover, I do love its plastic lens. It feels like being in a beautiful dream, soft and sweet. And Holga never limits your wonderful idea. You can create pseudo-panoramic photos, Holga sampler, Holgaroid, Holga 35mm or 75mm, let the light leaks in and so on. So, Holga is the most artistic camera!

I love taking photos with my Holga 120CFN. I always imagine that I am a scientist who never stops experiment. Holga is my every thing and has so many things I want to learn about it. I try on all film types to search my most favorite, but I did not find it as every type of film is suitable for Holga. I am never disappointed since I have had a new friend whose name is Holga. It is my super lovely friend ever!
