    My (Love) Lomo Story

My Lomo story started a long time ago when I saw the Actionsampler in a magazine, but it was only abstract to me at the time. I was not sure that a plastic camera could work well, so I did not decide to buy it right then. Then I searched and learned about all Lomographic cameras to make sure that they were not toys. About two years later, my abstractness became existence.

A Horizon - Strobe Flash Dream Team

A dreamy but perhaps strange combination would be a camera without a hotshoe paired with a flash. You may wonder how this works together? The camera in question is the Horizon Perfekt and the flash is not just any flash, it is Holgon Strobe flash.

    Crazy In Love With 120

The world of 120 is square-shaped. On some occasions, it’s rectangular and sprocket-y. You’ll even discover some crazy fisheye perspectives. But generally, it’s a medium-format wonderland where lights are leaky and vignettes add an air of mystery. Soft-focus blurs and deep colors radiate as loud as love-struck heartbeats. Truly, there is nothing like it – that’s why at the age of digital love, the world of 120 continues to attract loyal fans.

Wings of a Dove - Analogue Love

Lately I followed the invitation of my old friend and musician "Peter":http://www.ghanart.org/donkor/welcome.html to take some pictures of his "CD release concert":http://www.modernghana.com/GhanaHome/photos/event_album.asp?menu_id=32&action=view&album_id=17638 in Frick, Switzerland. Besides my professional digital – Brick I also took an "LC-A+":http://shop.lomography.com/lca+/ and an Actionsampler flash with me – hoping for some nice opportunities to shoot. Finally it ended up being a great weekend – Peter’s house was invaded by 12 other people – including myself. That organised confusion and busyness going on from morning till late night made me forget to take pictures all the time. But maybe it also was the fact that I was totally occupied with four cute kids aged from 2-6 that tried to make me play with them all the time that kept me from documenting everything with my lomos.
