Going Wild with the Petzval lens

This year Lomography UK headed to the Oxfordshire countryside to run two workshops at the Wilderness festival. We set up camp and battled the unpredictable weather with a trusty Petzval lens in hand. We battled through the rain, sun, mud and smelly toilets to capture the event in full. Read on for more.

Lomography UK ran two Fishyeye/La Sardina workshops over two days from an artist tent in the heart of the Wilderness Festival. Unfortunately for us this meant camping out in in pouring rain overnight. It was well worth it though because it turns out that festivals are the perfect place to take photographs. We took the Petzval lens with us to document the weekend and managed to get some super special shots.

We chatted with a member of staff from Chap magazine who loves Lomography, so much in fact that he has the original Lomo logo tattooed on his leg and was carrying an LC-A+ around.

We also took some portraits of the workshop participants who had just come back from shooting with the cameras. Everybody had a great time in the workshops even with the heavy downpour. We definitely had a blast and will be back next year!

See some of the wonderful photos taken by the participants here.
