Today's dose of inspiration comes in the form of these photographs by globetrotting photographer Enig Hui. Check out his work after the cut!
Out of all the modes of public transportation available, the train has always been my favorite because on one hand, it’s the cheapest, fastest, and most convenient way (except when it’s the after work rush hour or the holidays, at least on my side of the world) of going from point A to point B. On the other, as someone who tries to polish her hand in writing short fiction, I find that the system, my fellow passengers, and the experience itself have always been among my constant sources of ideas and inspirations.
I came across this series of photographs by Malaysian photographer Enig Hui, who has been lucky enough to travel to different cities in the world and document their respective subway systems. It’s as if every photograph already tells a story on its own. Check out a few of them below!
If you’re anything like me, maybe you’d also find these photos not only good to look at, but also as a prompt for a new personal project to take on!
