Not that we’re encouraging you to go berserk or anything, but we are definitely hope you’ll throw your worries to the wind, do something wild in the spirit of fun, and tell us about it.
A couple of festivals are about to conclude and several more are bound to happen within the next few weeks. So after Rio, and Mardi Gras, there’s still St. Patrick’s Day, Las Fallas, the famed SXSW music festival, and even more cultural festivals in different parts of the world. It’s definitely the time to go all out and party, and have the time of your life.
More often than not, these festivals become the grandest, most extravagant celebrations of culture, art and music, entailing participants to a spirited vibe and an addictive frenzy. Go ahead. Let go and indulge in the fun, party like there’s no tomorrow, but don’t forget to tell us about it. Check out our requested posts and have your say!)
After the festivals, think of what else you can do with all that energy. Why not do something wild or extreme for a change. Get out of your comfort zone and do something you’ve never done, whether it’s some extreme sport or some wild camera modification. Keep safe and be careful though! Share your wild story with us and show those wild photos.
We’re also celebrating International Women’s Day here at the Magazine, so aside from the shower of festivity and everything wild, we will be featuring iconic and influential women on our pages. Now, if there is this important woman in your life who deserves to be celebrated, by all means, introduce her to the rest of the community. It is your chance to celebrate that important woman (or women) in your life.
We’re also happy to tell you that we have more community features, and more competitions lined up this month. Expect more of Camera Collections, Show Your Stash, Photo Stories, Tales from the Trip, and the return of the Hipshot Showdown, Director’s Showreel, LomoWall and “Caption Rumbles,”: among others. We’ve got a new person dedicated to making sure everyone in the community gets the chance to be happily involved.
