Petzval In A Spin: Testing The New Petzval Lens With The Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera

Check out what happened when digital movie expert Uwe Mimoun was armed with the Petzval Lens, a Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera and some dizzy Lomography HQ staff ...

We wanted to see how the Petzval lens handled the latest digital technology so we invited Uwe Mimoun to Lomography HQ to try out the Petzval on the Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera!

WARNING: motion sickness

Not only did we have a lot of fun, this video is a good example of how diverse our legendary lens is. We usually shoot with f 2.2 or f2.8 to get the swirly bokeh effect – But in this video we shot using f 5.6, demonstrating how you can achieve really sharp footage across the whole field with the Petzval Lens.

The dizzying heights the Petzval reaches never cease to amaze! Pre-order yours now for June delivery or find out more here.
