From everyone here at Lomography, congratulations to kibs for having the LomoHome of the Day!
Chicago’s kibs’ affair with analogue photography goes way back to the ‘70s, when she studied photography at the University of Florida under Jerry Uelsmann and Evon Streetman. For years she dabbled in it, but in the ‘90s, her equipment got stolen! This caused her to stop shooting for more than 20 years. However, her interest in photography was rekindled after reading an article about the Diana. Now, kibs says she is back to where she started, re-learning what was taught to her “through the eyes of my little plastic friends” which includes the Diana F+, LC-A+, Lubitel 166+, La Sardina, Konstruktor, the Holga 120 GCFN and Micro 110, and the LomoKino.
Once again, congratulations kibs!
