That’s quite a breathtaking view of the Black Diamond from the inside, don’t you think?
No, we’re not talking about jewelry here. The Black Diamond is a tastefully designed extension of Copenhagen’s Royal Danish Library. Aside from being the library’s extension, it also houses an auditorium, exhibition spaces, café, restaurant, roof terrace, and a bookshop. From the outside, it is box-shaped and clad in granite. From the inside, this is what you get.
Gionnired’s picture of the architectural wonder was taken using a Lubitel 166+ loaded with Fujifilm Fujichrome MS film. If you want to see more images of the Danish capital, check out this album.
Congratulations to gionnired for winning our POTD award.
