FujiFilm Celebrates its 25th Anniversary in the Film Manufacturing Industry

Film is the pride and glory here in Lomography along with the love of everything analogue and photography. That’s why it is good news to hear that FujiFilm manufacturing is celebrating its 25th Anniversary in the business with events to commemorate the company’s success in providing people with good quality film.

Imagine having great analogue cameras to shoot great memories with but lacking the resources to put those moments in something concrete. Albums would be thinner and prints would be rare to say the least. FujiFilm has brought the joy of film photography to many snappers all around the world and will continue to do so with the strong reception of their products and services. It’s only fitting news that a leading company in silver halide products celebrate their silver anniversary in the business.

Yesterday, October 2, FujiFilm began the festivities highlighting the company’s success in the industry. Celebrations opened with a gala dinner in which featured a speech from South Carolina Governor, Nikki Haley, and FUJIFILM Holdings Corporation President and COO, Shigehiro Nakajima. Other events include visiting the 500-acre campus for the company’s associates and family members, factory tours and live entertainment. The celebration is also set to end with fireworks in the evening.

This can only mean good thing for film photography enthusiasts who continue to use Fuji films for their shoots.

Here are some photographs from the community that feature the use of FujiFilm products lovingly shot with analogue cameras just as they were intended to be. We say cheers for the continued support of film photography.
