Awesome Albums: Rosner’s by clickiemcpete

Talk about an awesome Throwback Thursday! Today’s album feature showcases some classic cars -- just perfect for the occasion – courtesy of Lomographer clickiemcpete!

Have you got a thing for hot rods and classic cars? Then you’ll certainly love community member clickiemcpete’s album, Rosner’s, which was taken at a monthly hot rod show at Rosner’s.

Personally, I find the use of black and white film is a great touch — adding more to the vintage and throwback feel of the show.

“More from Rosner’s monthly hot rod show. This is only a mile from my house, so it’s an event that I’d be foolish to miss. […] Some of these guys are old farmers from Vermont and New Hampshire and others are backyard mechanics. There’s a heavy cultural mix of bikers as well. Most are friendly, but a few are downright scary individuals, although I suspect it’s mostly a macho display of bravado.” — clickiemcpete

The photos were taken using a Fuji Klasse W that was loaded with Ilford XP2 400.

What do you guys think?

The Awesome Albums series is exactly what it says on the tin — it’s a love letter of sorts from the Editors addressed to user-uploaded albums that had caught their eye and had inadvertently fallen in love with. Please understand though, they’re really just here to express their love and nothing more.

The Fuji Klasse W is an analogue point-and-shoot that boasts fantastic features packed in a lightweight magnesium body. This camera offers a range of manual options, rare for a point-and-shoot, giving you the opportunity to create images in different lighting situations. It also comes with a high-quality 28mm Super EBC Fujinon lens that delivers sharp images with natural color saturation. This camera delivers great performance in any shooting condition.

The Fuji Klasse W is available for pre-order online and initially available exclusively to the following Asian markets: Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Macau, Vietnam, and Brunei.
