This just in: Italian photography company Ferrania has offered a sneak peek into one of the films they will be producing after deciding to make a comeback into the film business. Read on to find out more about this great news!
Quick to update their subscribers and film photographers all over the world, Ferrania posted yesterday a blog post with a sneak peek on one of the films they are set to bring back into the market.
Taking into consideration the feedback of users all over the world, Ferrania says they’re sure that “new reversal film would have been really appreciated both from photographers and filmmakers,” the Italian manufacturing company said their new film is going to be a “re-engineered” and “improved” version of the Scotch Chrome 100 which was previously manufactured by IMATION (which has nothing in common with the slide film made by 3M in the 1970s).
Ferrania also said that the reversal film, which came in three speeds — 100, 640, and 800/3200 ISO — will also be made available in motion picture small formats. Take a look at the Technical Sheet for IMATION provided by the Italian manufacturer for your reference.
Meanwhile, here are some Scotch Chrome 100 photos taken by our fellow community members to get you even more excited with Ferrania’s upcoming slide film!
