Awesome Albums: Tell a Story by aguillem

Words cannot fully express how much I love the concept and execution in this album made by community member aguillem. Really. See for yourself!

“I used masks inside the camera to open just a part of the frame each side. After exposing the 1st part, I’ve re-loaded the film, changed the mask and re-aligned the film to shot the 2nd part; then the 3rd. My idea was to make it look like a comic book.”aguillem on the album

Tell a story is undeniably the perfect name for this album. And while capturing the subject inside each frame must’ve been a challenge, the resulting “collage” gives off a feel as if it was a story told in vignettes.

Really, I am so in love with this album, I could cry.

The photos were taken using a Zenit 12 and loaded with Lomography Earl Grey B&W 100 (pushed to ISO200).

The Awesome Albums series is exactly what it says on the tin — it’s a love letter of sorts from the Editors addressed to user-uploaded albums that had caught their eye and had inadvertently fallen in love with. Please understand though, they’re really just here to express their love and nothing more.
