Awesome Albums: Double Between Japan and Hong Kong by gocchin

Are you a fan of Christopher Nolan's work? Then you might just like today's Awesome Album feature! Check it out!

While the album name is pretty straightforward, you better prepare yourself when you check out the album Double Between Japan and Hong Kong by community member gocchin.

Why? Because these photos will simply blow your mind.

Taken with a Lomo L-CA+ that was loaded with Lomography Lady Grey B&W 400 film, this album features shots of buildings in Hong Kong combined with shots of a woman in a kimono using the LC-A+ Splitzer.

The resulting images are brilliant — a juxtaposition of chaos and peace, or of modern times and rural living. Personally, it reminds me of the film Inception by Christopher Nolan.

What do you guys think?

The Awesome Albums series is exactly what it says on the tin — it’s a love letter of sorts from the Editors addressed to user-uploaded albums that had caught their eye and had inadvertently fallen in love with. Please understand though, they’re really just here to express their love and nothing more.
