Awesome Albums: Namibia – Sossusvlei by disdis

The Awesome Albums series is exactly what it says on the tin -- it’s a love letter of sorts from us, the Editors, addressed to user-uploaded albums that had caught our eye and had inadvertently fallen in love with.

In this first installment, we present an album that looks like it belongs to the world of Salvador Dali.

Entitled Namibia – Sossusvlei, this album taken by Lomographer disdis features the breathtakingly surreal landscapes of the Namib Desert in Namibia, Africa.

As in seriously, you guys. If these photos were enough to blow my mind, I can only imagine how much more if I was as lucky as our friend disdis, and I’ve seen the landscape first hand.

The photos in this album were taken using a Holga 120 CFN that was loaded with Kodak E100GX film.

Please understand though, they’re really just here to express their love and nothing more.

    if you ever have a chance to go, don't hesitate. though i will say that this place should be forbidden to humans! it belongs to the nature!

    @disdis When I saw this album for the first time, I was really speechless. The contrast of the shadows on the dunes are crazy! Great shots! :D
