A plastic 35mm SLR that kinda looks like a lomography-fied Nikon F1 with a waist level viewfinder.

The more I look at the silhouette the more worried I get that there won't be a flash hot shoe on it, or it might have a non-standard connector like the Diana flash or the Fritz

Let's hope it will take interchangeable lenses so you can stick the Belairgon glass on it!

@clickiemcpete In a perfect world I'd like it if it was just 35mm and was M42 mount. Keeping one format would hopefully make it cheaper for us to buy, and having an M42 mount would mean LSI don't have to worry about making their own lenses as much, as there are loads of M42 lenses available if you look around.

I'm thinking DIY Ihagee Exakta-Kamera inspired camera. This should be interesting. It will be even more interesting if it can use interchangeable lenses. It will also be the only DIY camera with a swing mirror of which I know. This is definitely not a TLR because there's only one lens mount. This type of viewfinder in an SLR is simply called a waist-level viewfinder. It does seem to have a rewind lever which implies 35mm, but I think I saw a frame counter window in the silhouette of the parts which would imply medium format. Interesting. I guess we just have to wait and see.
