Happy Summertime Shooting In Half-Frames!

You know what will save you some money and allow you to creatively tell a short story? Why, the Diana Mini, of course! Capable of shooting full squares as well as half-frames, double the number of exposures you can capture on a roll with this versatile, vintage-inspired film camera!

I’ve tried nearly all Lomography cameras but the first one I bought for myself was the Diana Mini. It’s the perfect analogue beginner camera because it’s cute, compact and capable of shooting in a frenzy of formats, my favourite one being the half-frames! And since summer is upon us, you can bet we’ll be taking this camera around to our trips!

Since I’m always trying to get the most out of a single roll of film, the Diana Mini is great because 1) you can tell a short narrative in two frames a.k.a. diptychs; 2) splicing a frame in two means doubling the amount of exposures in a roll (12 becomes 24, 24 becomes 48, and 36 becomes 72 shots) so you save money; and 3) it allows you to get even more creative with the space you have and do multiple exposures by simply pressing the shutter again!

Visit the Diana Mini Microsite for more info!

The Diana Mini is the ultra-compact, petite version of the Diana F+. This camera takes soft-focused, lo-fi images in 35mm and allows you to change between half-format and square shots with a flick of a switch. Get your own Diana Mini now!
