The Lomochrome Purple Film Update

Hold your horses! Here's a crucial update regarding your much-awaited Lomochrome Purple Film. The very first quantities has reached the shelves of our special, off-limits Lomography HQ refrigerator for safekeeping!

What’s it doing there, you ask?

The first batch of Lomochrome Purple Film is stored in the HQ fridge, which is under surveillance of our armed security Lomo watchdog. Veeeery dangerous!

This batch will then be picked up by our resident stealthy analogue wizard. A swish of the magic wand will send off the films to a secret hub, where they will be expertly spooled. Poof!

Once done with the spooling spell, the film batch will then shimmy its way to our esteemed film testers. The testers will be feeding their frenzied cameras with the new Lomochrome Purple films in the darkest of the night … just in case any analogue spies are lurking behind purple-y shadows! We can’t let them run away with our secret Lomochrome Purple recipe, right?

Curious about what’s happening next? Watch out for our upcoming gallery articles that will definitely stir your senses!

Please note:
Of course we’re just kidding. No wizards and dangerous animals involved in the safekeeping of the Lomochrome Purple Films!
All pictures in this post were NOT taken with the Lomochrome Purple Film. The “testers” mentioned in this article are your friendly Lomography staff :)

So, I already paid mine and until July, when I'm suppose to get it, I'll see tons of pictures of it here from people who didn't even paid for it (lucky testers! ;)), if I understood anything of this article... thrilled. :/ LOL, sorry for my honesty, LSI!! ;)

...and BTW, test users? Hmmm... shouldn't it be tested before it was available for pre-orders?... Ai, ai... no test and stored on a office fridge?! LOL! Should I be in panic now?!

sorry, this is not clear enough in the article, but these pictures, are not shot with the lomochrome purple film. there are no test users out there who received film.
the testers are staff so we can quality control the film.

I'm with @saidseni on this one... We are still 4 months short to receive the film, it would defenitely sting a bit seeing galleries of test pictures pass by... But at leastwe know that one is coming! It is worse looking at all the awesome lomography tungsten pictures out there, going to the shop, finding it out of stock and realizing this film isn't coming back, ever. Please bring tungsten back as well! ;-)

As long as it's still kept next to the barbecue sauce - that's fine with me.

well if it hasn't been spooled yet, here's a suggestion for you- you can really learn from fujufilm. white frame numbers printed on a black backing is near impossible to read even in daylight through the little red view window at the back of a Diana. fujifilm 120 however is easily readable even at night through the red window at the back of a Diana- i really wish you guys would do that with your lomography film...
