Online Marketing/Social Media Intern Position with Lomography Online Manila
Location: Philippines
We are looking for a committed, curious, motivated, organized, and good-tempered individual, someone who is willing to test the waters and see if he or she matches the team by interning and working hard for 3-6 months (negotiable), with a good chance of full-time employment in the future. This internship is an excellent opportunity for someone who wishes to gain experience in online marketing, also for students or fresh graduates.
Responsibilities include:
- SEO and SEM Projects
- Banner booking, placement and suggesting
- Writing and publishing features to the Lomography online magazine
- Improving Google adwords
- Working on Lomography’s various social media channels
- Working in a proactive way to promote Lomography, its products, its projects and its community
- Assist international teams in various online marketing tasks
Requirements:
- Must be well aware of online media, including magazines, blogs and social media.
- Computer skills include: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint), Keynote, Photoshop
- General knowledge about how blogs and websites work
- Detail-oriented and efficient, Punctual, Articulate
- An eye for good design
- Crazy about the internet and social media trends
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Outgoing and creative personalityAbility to work in a independently and in a team (contribute to group goals, takes initiative, outgoing personality, extremely well organized and concise)
- University student in direction of communication, marketing, journalism, literature, media and arts etc.
- Experience in Google Adwords, Google Analytics is an asset
- Experience in Social Media and viral marketing is an asset
- International background is an asset
- Fluent English; additional languages is a plus

Magazine Intern

We are looking for someone who has or is currently majoring in English studies or an equivalent counterpart; has a strong interest in photography; flexible; efficient; well-versed in written and spoken English. As an intern, duties include creating/editing/publishing articles for our online magazine as well as coming up with fresh ideas for potential magazine or community posts, among other tasks.
- Develop written content for the Lomography website, enjoying the fast-paced, ever-changing world of Lomography Online.
- Create articles for camera descriptions, tips and tricks, history, and instructions.
- General marketing texts (flyers, posters, folders, product catalogues, online newsletters, etc.)
- Coordinate with the team of Online Editors and Writers
- Gain a deep understanding of Lomography’s products, target audience, and competitor activities.
- Establish strong relationships across departments and an understanding of the target market’s need.
Highly creative and imaginative, with good written and interpersonal skills. Can work well in a team and/or alone, and can work under pressure. Must have an eye for detail and has an interest in photography and popular culture. - Fluent English (written); additional languages are a plus
Internship: 40 hours/week
