The Airborne LEGO Elvis

Nicknamed "The BrickMan", Professional LEGO builder Ryan McNaught has created a lego model of a specific twin-engine helicopter. 4x1 meters, the lage-sale representation is a feat and is very accurate from our observation, with tail lettering appearing printed on.

Also bearing a nickname is the chopper McNaught based his sculpture off. The Erickson S-64 Air-Crane Helicopter or “Elvis” is a primary firefighting tool used to suppress bushfire in Australia, where McNaught holds the tile of being the only LEGO certified Professional in the Southern Hemisphere.

100,000 LEGO bricks went in to Elvis’ creation.

You’ll be able to catch McNaught’s model at the 2-day LEGO fan covention Brickvention 2013 from 19-20 January in Victoria, Australia.
