Austrian Daredevil Completes Historic Freefall Jump

The world is abuzz after Austrian daredevil Felix Baumgartner’s successful attempt of one of man’s greatest feats ever done in history last Sunday. Now, we’re here to mark this event in the only way we know how! Check it out!

Felix Baumgartner broke records on his death-defying jump last Sunday. At a speed of Mach 1.24 or around 833.9 mph, he became the first person to reach supersonic speed after freefalling from a balloon at an altitude of 128, 100 feet – a level that was in fact, higher than they initially expected.

He has also broken the record for the highest manned-balloon flight, and highest jump.

And to mark this historic day, we’ve complied a gallery of photos of our community members doing their very own death-defying jumps!

Just kidding, they’re more like gravity-defying! Kudos to Felix Baumgartner though!

“Sometimes we have to get really high to see how small we are.” — Felix Baumgartner
