Kodak Eyeing to Cease Consumer Printing Business

As part of its company reorganization and restructuring, Kodak announced last week that they will wind down sales of its consumer inkjet printers.

In its continuous attempts in to save itself, Kodak has also submitted a motion to the Bankruptcy Court to extend until February 28, 2013, along with the further reduction of their global workforce of at least 1,200 employees.

Despite the planned cessation of their consumer printing business, Kodak maintains that it will still remain committed to the sales of ink for the already established base of the said business.
