You know how people always say, "that's impossible"? If this man can build a working bicycle out of cardboard, everything is possible!
Talk about a labor of love! Sparked by inspiration from a cardboard canoe, Izhar Gafni set out to make a cardboard bicycle. Not deterred by engineer’s claims that it would never work, and motivated by his wife to try it out, he made the impossible possible.
Using origami techniques, Gafiri created a bike capable of sustaining up to 485 pounds of weight. One of the best parts, the bike only costs about $9 to make!
