Lana’s 8mm Vintage Videoclip, Again

Lana Del Rey’s passion for vintage 8mm videos is quite famous. After “National Anthem” and all the first videos she made herself, now she released a brand new videoclip for the single “Summertime Sadness”. Enjoy this video, with some new main features and themes.

After the launch of the video for “National Anthem” in July 20, Lana Del Rey has published on her official Facebook page, the clip for “Summertime Sadness”, a single from her debut album, “Born To Die”. Directed by Kyle Newman and Spencer Susser, the video shows the retro atmosphere and dreamy quality already seen in “Video Games”, one of the first clips of this American baroque pop star.

In “Summertime Sadness” you may notice an attention to details and particulars, which perfectly reflect the unique style that has made Lana Del Rey famous several months ago.

This nostalgic video starts with the suicide scene of Lana del Rey and tells, through a series of flashbacks, the tortured romance between the singer and actress Jaime King (who was in “Sin City” and “My Bloody Valentine”). The clip is characterized by dark images, which shows the artist’s obsession with vintage style once again.
