Spotted: Pretty Diana on Ugly Betty

I was re-watching an episode of Ugly Betty from Season 4 called "The Butterfly Effect" when I suddenly noticed the appearance of several Diana F+ cameras along the main corridor on the set of the drama!

Ugly Betty is an American comedy-drama television series aired from 2006 until 2010 on ABC Channel. The story revolves around the main character, Betty Suarez, a quirky Mexican-American woman from Queens, New York who is sorely lacking in fashion sense. She is known to be bold, good-hearted, and slightly naïve. She is abruptly thrusted into a different world when she lands a job at Mode, a trendy, high fashion magazine based in Manhattan.

America Ferrera as Betty

I was re-watching an episode of Ugly Betty Season 4, The Butterfly Effect when I suddenly notice the appearance of Diana cameras used as décor in the set of the drama.

The scene with the cameras in the background actually appeared a few times throughout the drama.

The Dianas is arranged on the shelf along the tunnel lane inside the Mode office. Usually the production will put different things on the shelf on each episode. The will put fashionable, trendy items like handbags, heels or art sculpture on the shelf. I am amazed that they actually found Diana cameras to be displayed there. Well, Lomographic cameras is a subject of fashion and art too so the idea of using Diana is perfect.

The Diana F+ Mr. Pink yields the same soft-focused, vignetted medium-format squares as the original Diana F+. This dashing edition’s hot pink colour will surely make your hearts flutter. See it with the rest of the Diana Clones here!
