Spotted: Diana Mini on a Plane!

Even if airport security gave me a hard time about handcarrying my undeveloped negative films and Diana F+ loaded with Kodak IR Aerochrome, there's a silver lining! On my flight from Lisboa to Duesseldorf, I spotted my most beloved Lomography camera on the plane's magazine!

I spent a wonderful holiday with my partner in Ericeira last month. Our flight back home started from Lisboa. It started really bad because I had a big big fight with the airport’s security supervisor about his unwillingness to handcheck my undeveloped negative films and my Diana F+ loaded with Kodak IR Aerochrome.

After a long discussion, we finally sat down on our seats waiting for our takeoff. I am anxious in regard of flying. I simply do NOT like it especially the takeoff, and the emergency training simply freaks me so I searched for something to draw my attention on and, in front of me I found one of these typical airline magazines. This one was from the portuguese airline company TAP. There was advertisement for Portuguese wine, duty free offers, etc.

During my browsing through it my boyfriend said: “Wait a second! This is your camera isn’t it?”

And he was right! The Diana Mini is the first Lomography cam I bought and my favourite one! Okayyy, the Sprocket is not bad as well ;) LOMO ON!

PS: Does anybody have a tip where I can get my aerochrome developed correctly?

The Diana Mini is the ultra-compact, petite version of the Diana F+. This camera takes soft-focused, lo-fi images in 35mm and allows you to change between half-format and square shots with a flick of a switch. Get your own Diana Mini now!
