Only the biggest of things can happen tonight at the launch party for the new Fisheye Baby 110 camera! This tiny camera is the star of the show at the Lomography Gallery Store Gramercy in New York City, where we are celebrating it's arrival! Take a look at how things are going so far, tonight's all about the play of big and small, showcasing that small size really does yield BIG results!
First things first, we are too excited to to finally get to be playing with the new Fisheye 110 camera, testing out how fun and easy 110 film loaded into this fantastic little camera really is! We can’t help but want one ourselves, to bring it with us everywhere. I know the staff can’t wait to grab one each, and our guests are having a great time shooting!
We are also relaxing and having a good time sipping wine and enjoying funky acoustic tunes from our musical guest, Jonathan Stein, on the largest instrument we could manage to bring into the shop, the upright base! People are loving the vibe and how unique both the new camera and this instrument truly are because of their sizes. Who said size means everything? We think the best things come in every shape and size!
We are raffling off a bunch of cool prizes, as people drop their fishy raffle tickets into our fish bowl. So far we have given away a few fun treats, but the best prize is yet to come!
And we are taking a moment to wish happy birthday to our beloved LC-A+ who is turning 28 this year! We have one of our own, Joey, and his lady singing Happy Birthday while playing their ukuleles. Candles have been lit on some of the tiniest cupcakes we have ever seen. Happy Birthday to the LC-A+, Lomography’s first born, and the Fisheye 110, our newest little one! A toast to you both!
The party doesn’t end ’til 9:00pm, so what excuse do you have? Get down here! We would love to see you and share our good times!
