On Saturday, May 26th, the NYC Lomography Gallery Store in Gramercy taught a special group of university students from Baruch College how to manipulate their first medium format Diana F+ cameras. These students came through the AIESEC program from all over the world to join us in New York city! We wanted to show them the city Lomography style, and thus loaded them up with 120 film in our very own Diana F+ cameras!
What: AIESEC Student Diana F+ Workshop
When: Saturday, May 26th at 2:30pm
Where: The Lomography Gallery Store Gramercy
Camera: Diana F+
Technique: Multiple Exposures, Black and White, Cross Processing
The eager students were taught how to make the most out of their Diana F+ cameras on the bright Spring streets of New York City in May.
Our newest staff Lomographer Joey took them on a lovely stroll to NYC’s St. Mark’s street for maximum eye candy. The humid day was perfect for capturing the NYC sticky city slickers in full action. Double exposures of all kinds were perfect for the cloudy day.
Here we have photos from the workshop taken with our Lomography Color 400 film, Lomography X-Pro 200 film, and our Lomography Lady Grey 400 film. Everyone left with a knew appreciation for the spontaneity of Lomography photography!
Thank you to all of the students that attended the workshop and we look forward to having you next time!
