You probably know that we’re currently running a competition at our booth, in association with MUBI, located in the Short Film Corner. This competition is pretty simple: we want you to submit to us an 11th Golden Rule, following the 10 Golden Rules of Lomography.

We get more and more submissions every day, and choosing a winner wasn’t an easy task. However, we took the time to find who would get the LomoKino MUBI Edition and our winner is Martin Jurek, who had a great 11th Golden Rule that sums up what the LomoKino is all about:

Think backwards, act forwards
“This is a camera that is inspired from the past, but that we love to use to create new things!”

Among all the submissions we got for the last two days, we also wanted to mention the submission of Chistopher Tioman, who thought that “Do it naked” would make a great 11th Golden Rule :)

Check out our photo diary from the first few days of the festival! If you are in Cannes, do not hesitate to drop by our booth to submit your 11th Golden Rule! Who knows, you might just win to win a LomoKino MUBI Edition! And you might even spot celebrities like Brad Pitt & Andrew Dominik who love Lomography! ;-)
