Apichatpong Weerasethakul LomoKino Film 'Ashes' to Premiere at Cannes

Have you heard that Palme D’Or winning Director Apichatpong Weerasethakul shot most of his latest short film with the LomoKino? And that it will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival? Find out more after the jump.

That’s the tagline for Ashes, Apichatpong Weerasethakul’s latest film shot for the most part with the LomoKino. After the tremendous success of Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives, which won the prestigious Palme D’Or prize in 2010, we’re all tremendously excited to find out more about his latest movie.

Wouldn’t you just love to watch the full length feature? Well if you’re in Cannes, you’re sorted. But if you’re not, then it’s easy too because on May 24th we’ll be screening it at all Lomography Gallery Stores worldwide Fantastic, no? See you all on the 24th. You’d be crazy to miss it!
