4 photographers, 44 places, 144 moments. Poland's Photomonth Festival aims to democratize art and photography, thanks to the efforts of Babel Images Foundation photographers. Find out more about the analogue event below!
Four photographers associated with the Babel Images Foundation—Bartek Frączek, Koczenasz Bartolomeo, Michał Kowalski and Mieszko Stanisławski—are on a mission to capture the unique atmosphere of Ulicajozefa, a colorful and lively street in the heart of the Jewish quarter in Kraków.
And what better way to represent the town’s culture than with analogue photography! Their exploration resulted in 144 cross-processed photographs that reveal interesting details and abstract situations unique to Kraków. The photographs will be printed onto four mosaics and exhibited on the wall at 17th Joseph Street on May 26, 2012, where it will be on view for at least two months.
