Read on to see what happened at the Lomography Gallery Store Amsterdam this week!
The week started out pretty well for store manager Jos. A big group of curious women walked into the Gallery Store Amsterdam and had only one question: “What the hell is Lomography?”. Sensei Jos was quick to explain everything while sitting on the stairs. The women listened and soaked up all the knowledge. Jos turned out to be a true tour guide and showed the entire Gallery Store to his ‘pupils’. If you ever find yourself in the Gallery Store and you want to know more, just ask Jos!
Friday March 23rd | Clothes swap & drinks
Last Friday we started the weekend with some drinks and some clothes. Wait what? Yes, clothes! We had a cool clothes swap in the store. The entire store was zigzagged with clotheslines and everyone was free to put up their excess clothes and swap. All of this whilst enjoying some snacks and a beer or two. A lot of the clothes found new homes and those who didn’t, we donated to Kici. It was looking quite impressive with all of that fabric hanging around so we kind of forgot to take any analogue pictures…
Sunday March 35th | Dirty Diana Workshop
The popular Dirty Diana workshop was entirely sold out yet again! A group of enthousiastic Lomographers assembled themselves to learn everything there is to know about the Diana F+! Thanks to the first rays of sun we where able to bust out the Lomography color negative 100 and the always beautiful Lomography redscale XR 50 – 200!
And last Monday? A young lady walked into the store and started to take her clothes off! No, not in that way you perv! She wanted to show us her Analogue Tattoo! A real Diana, embedded on her flesh, it was awesome!
