Wednesday the 7th was a night filled with excitement! A few of us gathered together on a nice warm evening and headed towards Madison Square Park with tripods and Sprocket Rockets in hand.
We were set to capture the bright lights of the big city, shooting exposures that ranged from 5 to 15 seconds. We took over the park and spread out, shooting everything from the cars buzzing down the avenue to the twinkling lights strung between the trees. There were some odd stares from passersby as we wrapped our Gorilla pod’s legs around light poles and park benches, achieving steadiness to get the perfect shots. We had a ton of fun and were happy to kiss the chilly winter nights of NYC goodbye (for now)!
